Families of
missionaries never stop worrying about their missionaries – at least this
one. Hayden and his companion have been
sick for quite a few days and not getting much better. They have seen the doctor but no reprieve so
far. Now, Hurricane Irma is headed right
for Port Charlotte. To put in
perspective, Harvey is a Category 4 and Irma was just upgraded to a Category
5. We are in contact with the mission
home as they prepare to keep all these missionaries safe but still, we can’t
help but worry. That being said… we know
that he is where he should be and we know that the Lord will watch over him and
the other missionaries. Just keep an
extra prayer in your heart for him if you can.
Love him, miss him but oh, so proud of him! Enjoy!!
Chapter 71

sick is not my favorite thing
This will be a shorter email because there isn't much to
talk about. We saw some cool things come from some referrals we received
recently.
A couple of missionaries in Tampa were teaching a man named
Joe. They had taught him maybe three times and had just introduced the Book of
Mormon to him. Then he told them he was moving out of the area to our area so
we helped him get moved into his house Thursday evening and we learned that it
is going to be him, his girlfriend, his sister and his sister has two
daughters, aged 11, and 14, and hopefully we are going to teach them all and
they can get baptized and it will be cool!
Second, it has been pouring rain! We have luckily had a roof
over our heads each time it has poured down. The other elders haven't been so
lucky each time. So we went and picked them up one night. It has just been 30
minute monsoons that come from no where but that's what happens in Florida
summers. (If I ever move here again, I am going to be a snow bird. None of this
summer stuff).
Last, we are sick. Which sucks. I'm sick and tired of
feeling sick and tired. So we have just been trying to recuperate and feel
better and more cool stuff will happen.
